Hicks Lake is located 5 miles east of Olympia. It's the first of a small chain of lakes, feeding Pattison Lake and Long Lake in turn. Hicks Lake is spring fed, and said to be the cleanest of the three lakes in the chain. It's also the smallest of the three. Fishing on Hicks Lake is said to be excellent.
