Long Lake is located 5.5 miles east of Olympia. It's actually two lakes connected by a narrow neck. It's the third in a small chain of lakes, being fed by Pattison Lake which is fed by Hicks Lake. Long Lake is the largest in the chain and probably the most popular. It offers excellent water-skiing as well as fishing. Long Lake has two small islands. Holmes Island is the largest at 13 acres and can be reached via a short bridge. There are several homes on the Holmes Island. Kirby Island is 2.4 acres.
Elevation is 153', size in acres is 311, maximum depth is 20'. Fish for Rainbow Trout and Bass. Water-skiing is allowed. There's public access and a public boat launch.
