Pattison Lake Washington
Looking for a little peace and quiet? Pattison Lake is probably just the ticket. There's no water-skiing or jet boating on Pattison Lake, just the tranquil subtle beauty of nature in all her radiant glory.
Pattison Lake is located 6 miles southeast of Olympia, in the general proximity to Long Lake and Hicks Lake. It's a very beautiful and peaceful spot. Pattison Lake is actually two lakes seperated by a narrow neck. The larger section is 182 acres, the smaller is 74 acres. Pattison is the second in a three lake chain, being fed by Hicks Lake and in turn feeding Long Lake.
Pattison Lake was originally called Petterson Lake, after it's original owner. Somewhere along the line the name got changed to Patterson Lake which is still used by some local residents and on some maps. Others use Pattison. Whatever it's real name, it's one of Olympia's finest.
Fish for Rainbow Trout and Bass, there is public access and a public boat launch.
